Postal Working Group

The Postal Committee is responsible for relations with postal services, growth of e-commerce and encouraging e-commerce through a Trustmark. The Committee seeks to work collaboratively with the South African Post Office in formulating postal strategies that will ensure consumer preference for paper based communication is not compromised.

The primary objectives of the Forum are to:

• ensure that the interests of direct marketing stakeholders are taken into account;
• Influence Regulators, SAPO and other bodies where necessary to ensure the long term sustainability of direct marketing DMASA Postal Forums;
• Stay abreast of SAPO’s standards to our members;
• Stay abreast of service delivery which may affect members;
• Offer guidance to SAPO on stakeholders concerns.
